Welp, ya caught me. 🫣 Just like any other photographer I started with portraits. Then when I started helping women find their confidence with boudoir I KNEW that was my calling. Now I find myself falling in love with your love stories.
Don’t get me wrong, I definitely don’t do this often (or in my opinion enough). But I’m absolutely loving the creative motion blur trend I’ve been seeing all over the internet and had to hop on the train. I think it gives so much more emotion to the image. What do you think? Do you love or hate the lotion blur?
I shouldn’t have to hide parts of myself for a business that I run. The very thought of that sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? My people will find me, always. When they do, I’ll be there to photograph their wedding. 🖤✨📷

I have always been one to push the standard for professionalism in the wedding photography industry. I don’t hide my tattoos or piercings (when I had them). I don’t mind dying my hair wild colors. My business is an extension of myself and yes I say “oh my god”, “oh shit”, and “damn girl”. I will not hide my personality for the sake of “professionalism”. If anything I want to work for couples who are likeminded. 🖤📷🌞

TW: Depression and suicide. I have always been open about my mental health. I believe the best way we can come together as a community is to normalize discussions about our mental health. Things are about to get really personal really fast. On January 1st 2023 I was suicidal; this was my most recent occurrence. Events completely out of my control occurred and I was already so beaten down, overwhelmed, stressed, and depressed that I genuinely thought death was my only escape. At that point two things kept me alive. 1, I have two amazing kids that wouldn’t understand if something happened to me. 2, I had 9 wedding galleries that would never see the light of day if I died. This wasn’t my first rodeo with depression. In fact, I have had issues with my mental health for the past 15 years. Heck, it’s even the reason I started photography. I have endured years of trauma which ultimately gave me a PTSD with BPD tendencies diagnosis. There are days I find myself paralyzed from depression. But even on those days I find the power to keep going because I have to. Brianne told me about her journey with mental health. She explained that she wanted a photoshoot that embodied how we often felt with depression. For me it feels like you can’t catch your breath. It feels like theres a weight on your chest that you can’t get off. It feels like you’re suffocating in your emotions.
And I love every single one of you! Without you I wouldn’t be able to do something I am so passionate about full time. 🖤📷
Camera gear is NOT cheap. Which is partially why photographers charge what we do. But DANG do I love getting new equipment. I’m like a kid in a candy store. 📷🍭

Yeah, I said it. You should do whatever the heck YOU want on your wedding day! Don’t wanna wear a white dress? Don’t. Wanna eat Taco Bell? Go for it. Wanna elope in the mountains? Let’s go! Your wedding day should be a celebration for you and your partner regardless of what everyone else wants. It is the one day where you can literally do whatever you want. So do it!

2023 just started but I can’t begin to express how excited I am for everything on my schedule so far this year! I just know it’s going to be a magical year for me and my business. But with that being said; 2023 is booking fast and I’m starting to receive 2024 wedding inquiries. What is it like to work with me?

I love to think of myself as your personal paparazzi and best friend during our entire process of working together. The moment you send an inquiry I receive it and reply as soon as possible, always within 24 hours. I love talking about all the details and how we can make the most out of your wedding day. I use this time to get to know you and your needs better. Leading up to your wedding I touch base with you and your coordinator multiple times to make sure every little detail is taken care of.

Miranda was my wedding and engagement session photographer, and she captured insanely beautiful photos! She will do anything for the pic, and I mean ANYTHING! She hiked at the gorge, and swam in shoulder height water with her camera just to get the pictures. Her creativity is unmatched, and she truly is the best photographer I’ve ever worked with! She is genuine, personable, flexible, and an overall lovely person.

Hello there!

Hey, I’m Miranda! I am a Lexington Kentucky based photographer although I’ll gladly travel all over the U.S. for destination weddings, literally anywhere. I have been behind a camera for 14 years and in 2016 I decided to follow my dream of becoming a photographer full time. In 2020 I began photographing weddings and have had the honor of being part of over 90 weddings since! In 2020 I was also given my first publication. Since then I have been published a total of 20 times. My work has been described by others as \candid, creamy, moody, warm, cinematic, and romantic.

I like to think of myself as the magical photographer for all the wildly in love.

Tuesday + Wednesday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Friday - Sunday: 9:00am - 4:00pm, excluding sessions and weddings.
